The original solid stain was peeling on this large Basking Ridge, NJ deck. Our team was called out to refinish the deck. In only five days our team stripped and stained both the deck, and the railings.
Monk’s Method
To begin this project our team inspected the current condition of the deck. Most of the deck’s original solid stain was severely peeling.
The homeowners wanted to rid their deck of its peeling, and worn out look, and restore it to natural wood.
Our team carefully stripped the deck of all of its existing stain. The deck was then stained with Sikkens DEK Mahogany to bring out the red undertones in the wood. The deck’s railings were then coated with a solid stain of white on the spindles and brown on the posts and railings.
After five days of hard work our team at Monk’s had entirely transformed this home’s large deck.
