Background & Experience
Born and raised in New York, I graduated St. John’s University with a B.S. in Accounting and then obtained my Certified Public Accountant license. Eighteen successful years in the financial accounting field followed in various customer-facing roles within Prime Brokerage and Hedge Fund Administration.
Once the first of my three children arrived, my wife and I relocated our family from New York to Hillsborough, New Jersey where we currently reside. It was in this house that I’ve refined my “handyman” skills. I started my five year plan to renovate my home which included removing wallpaper, painting the interior of the house, remodeling bathrooms, and the kitchen, installing new trim throughout the house, laying tile and doing more landscaping then I ever thought was possible!
The gratification achieved at the completion of each these home improvement projects motivated me to leave the corporate finance world. I then set my sights on opening my own business within the home improvement sector. I had a successful six-year run owning my own garage remodeling company. During this time, I worked closely with Monk’s referring to them all my finish carpentry and painting work. For this reason, I immediately reached out to them upon the sale of my business inquiring of career opportunities.
As a result, I now manage Monk’s home improvement projects in Montclair, Roseland, the Caldwells and the surrounding towns.
I look forward to working with you and helping your home improvement visions become reality!
