Steven Eccher's Before & After Projects
Background & Experience
Stephen Eccher has always loved working with his hands and coming up with creative ways to do things. As a child, he was inspired by his grandfather, who built a cabin in upstate New York with nothing but hand tools and recycled materials. Steve’s first opportunity to work in the carpentry field came twenty-five years ago as a carpenter’s helper. He quickly learned the basics and moved on to start his own remodeling company.
Over the years Steve has gained expertise in many areas, including all aspects of residential home remodeling and new construction. He has earned a reputation of trust and honor from those for whom he has worked. His clients comment on the detailed craftsmanship of his work and how he diligently cares for their homes during the entire project. Many clients reward Steve with the ultimate compliment, repeat business and referrals.
Steve is Always Building
One of Steve’s favorite things to do is flip houses. This is because he gets to use his unique vision and know-how to transform something worn into something new, beautiful, and desirable. He has earned an outstanding reputation with realtors because he always produces something their clients “must have”.
Steve is passionate about community outreach and has used his skills in various charity building projects. Therefore one of his most memorable was the construction of a church in Jamaica. He effectively led a team of local volunteers in addition to the crew he traveled with from home. Another amazing experience in his career was being selected as the on-site contractor for the DIY Network’s TV show “Ten Grand in Your Hand”.
As part of the Monk’s team, Steve enjoys the challenge of applying his experience and values to a great company and exceeding the expectations of his clients.
Steve lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and three children.
