Timeline: 3 days
The owners of this Summit, NJ home called in our team at Monk’s to update their basement with an interior paint job. The homeowners were about to put their house on the market and decided that polishing up the basement would help increase its value. Our team not only painted the walls, but also sheetrocked the ceiling. In only three days our team helped updated the basement, and increased the home’s value.
Our team at Monk’s was called in to upgrade the look of this Summit, NJ home’s basement. The homeowners were preparing to put their home on the market and wanted to spruce up the basement to increase the home’s value.
To begin the basement interior painting Summit project our team started with sheetrocking the ceiling. Sheetrock was applied over the existing ceiling, the surface was taped, spackled, and all seams were carefully smoothed. As always, our team took every measure to protect the rest of your home while the project is completed.
The basement walls were made from wood panels. Before painting the walls the paneling was carefully hand sanded. Once the walls were sanded they were given a coat of primer. Once the primer was dry all walls were given two coats of interior paint.
In only three days our team had given this basement a fresh new look with freshly painted walls, and a newly sheetrocked and painted ceiling.
