Complete Bathroom Renovation Montville NJ

Full Bathroom Renovation

Bathrooms are an important part of any home but as time goes on they often become outdated. This was the case in this Montville home, where a hall bathroom was in need of a complete renovation. Although we kept the floor plan the same, we installed all new materials. Sleek hardware and complementary neutrals gave the room a larger and more open feel.

A Complete Bathroom Renovation in Montville NJ

Firstly, our Estimator met with the homeowners to discuss the complete bathroom renovation. He took measurements and provided them with an estimate for the installation cost. This is the first step to our remodeling process. Next, the homeowners met with a designer in our showroom. The best part of any remodeling process is designing what you want your new space to look like. Our Design Studio was able to find the right materials to give this bathroom a more spacious and open feel.

After our homeowners decided on a plan, the next step was beginning the work itself. We began by pulling all the existing materials out of the bathroom going right down to the studs. Then, Monk’s carpenters went to work on rebuilding. As a result, the floor was leveled and a new window was installed. In addition, we moved the shower plumbing to the inside wall. This will prevent the pipes from freezing, as can happen when they are located on an outside wall.  We installed insulation and sheetrock.

The next task for the Monk’s carpenters was to install all the materials our homeowners purchased at our design center. Consequently, the floor specialists then installed luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring. Afterward, the team added a vanity, sink, and cabinets to the bathroom. As you can see, installing the floor on a diagonal helped give the illusion of a larger space. The darker tones complimented the tones in the cabinet and vanity. The lighter tones allowed for the natural light to open the space. Having the right materials to complement each other can make all the difference.

The team at Monks was able to create a dream bathroom for these homeowners!
