Timeline: 4 days
Are you tired with the look of your kitchen cabinets? Painting your kitchen cabinets is a great way to give your kitchen a new look without the hassle and cost of having to replace perfectly usable kitchen cabinets. Our team at Monk’s was called in to repaint the kitchen cabinets of this Basking Ridge, NJ home. In only four days our team transformed the look of this kitchen with newly painted cabinets.
To begin the process of painting the kitchen cabinets the cabinets were thoroughly sanded and cleaned. Once the cabinets were clean and sanded they were given a coat of an alcohol-based primer. When all of the cabinets have a coat of primer they are ready to be painted.
As always, our team at Monk’s takes all measures possible to ensure that your home is protected while we work. All surfaces in this kitchen were carefully covered with plastic before any painting began.
For this particular project, our team used a cup spray finish. A cup spray finish ensures that all coloring will be consistent. Opting for a cup spray finish rather than traditional rollers prevents streaky painting and roller marks.
Our team applied two coats of satin impervo oil based finish with a fine factory grade finish.
In only four days this kitchen was transformed with brand new looking cabinets. Another great job by our team at Monk’s!
