Bathroom Tile Replacement
Working with a Designer in our Morristown, NJ showroom, the homeowner selected a replacement tile. She wanted a larger format tile. While she didn’t want something too plain, she certainly wanted something more neutral. This way, the tile floor would complement future bathroom pieces that will be replaced down the road.
The homeowner settled on a 12″x24″ porcelain tile called Capella Clay. The Capella line is inspired by traditional terra cotta tiles, but with a modern look and size.
Once the tile was delivered, our tile installers got to work. They first removed all the existing tile, including the tile that ran up a portion of the raised shower. The new bathroom tile was installed and grouted. Once the floor was set, the painters got to work. They painted the trim to give the wood a fresh, clean appearance.
In just a couple of days, this project was complete. The homeowner was able to say goodbye to that ornate tile she despised. This bathroom tile replacement has given them a beautiful neutral foundation for future bathroom updates.
