Vicinity Magazine sat down with founder Ty Monk to learn about the business and how the company gives back to the community it serves.

Ty Monk started Monk’s Painting in 2007. It was a small, focused operation offering just interior and exterior painting. Based on customer demand, Ty brought on more tradesmen and expanded services to carpentry, flooring and small remodels.

Sixteen years later, alongside his brother Trevor, and good friend, Steve Brink, Monk’s Home Improvements is a full-service home improvement and remodeling company. Additionally, Monk’s offers its customers two showrooms staffed with kitchen & bath designers and window and door sales staff. Designs are always complimentary.
