Scope of Work: Bathroom Remodels, Interior Renovation
The upstairs of this Chatham, NJ home featured a single hallway bathroom. The bathroom needed to serve all the members of the household, as well as any guests. The homeowner was ready for their own master bathroom, as well as update the powder blue hallway bathroom. This type of remodel really adds value to a home, as well as improves the quality of life for the current owners.
Monk’s Method
The remodel began by removing everything from the blue bathroom. Then the closet walls were removed and the frames for the two new bathrooms were built. Some space from the existing bathroom was borrowed for the master, leaving us with space for two mid-sized bathrooms. We needed to close off one of the two windows in the existing hallway bathroom to make room for the new master bath shower.
In 5 weeks this project was complete and this home went from 1.5 baths to 2.5 baths. Best of all, no more fighting for the shower!
