Scope of Work: Kitchen cabinet painting, countertop replacement, hardware installation
Location: Randolph, NJ
A full kitchen remodel isn’t always required in order to improve the look and function of the kitchen. In this instance, we were able to greatly improve the look of the kitchen without replacing the cabinetry.
The dark oak cabinets coupled with the laminate countertops gave the kitchen a dated appearance. So, we removed the countertops and the drop-in sink. The painters removed all the doors and drawer fronts. They hand-sanded all the cabinetry. Then they applied multiple coats of paint, hand-sanding in between each coat of paint that was applied.
The existing cabinetry did not feature any hardware. We drilled the holes and installed the new pulls and knobs.
We replaced the countertops with a lovely quartz top. A new undermount sink was installed, as well as a new faucet. All of the cabinet doors and drawers were reinstalled.
Now, this once dark kitchen is bright and cheery with lovely upgrades.
