Monks in the Community

We don’t just work in the towns we service, we also live here. It is important to us that we are giving back to our community whenever we can.

2019 Monks Service Scholarship Award Winners

In 2014, we started an annual scholarship where five local, service-minded students are each awarded $2,000 to use towards college.

The winners’ stories about their volunteer efforts are inspiring and make us very proud to be able to honor their efforts. This has become a tradition we really look forward to every year!

Our winners inspired us and we participated in a company-sponsored service day at NourishNJ

Community Donations

Additionally, we also donate labor to local organizations to provide painting and carpentry services. If your organization is in need of our services, please contact us and the Estimator in your town will come out to spec out the work. While we can’t help everyone, we will certainly try our best to help.

A couple of examples of Monk’s in the community include painted the walls in the Central Avenue School in Madison, NJ to provide a blank canvas for their artist and student-painted mural. We have also provided this service for Lafayette Elementary, Washington Elementary, and Cedar Hill School.

Additionally, we painted the new dugouts at Nash Park in Chatham, NJ. We were happy to put the finishing touch on this renovated field and provide the “Chatham Blue”.
