We don’t just work in the towns we service, we also live here. It is important to us that we are giving back to our community whenever and however we can.

Scholarship Winners and Families
Monk’s Scholarship Winners 2014

In 2014, we started an annual scholarship where five local, service-minded students are each awarded $2,000 to use towards college.

The winners’ stories about their volunteer efforts is inspiring and makes us very proud to be able to honor their efforts. We are really looking forward to this year’s award ceremony where we can meet the 2015 recipients.

We also sponsor local sports teams every spring to help offset costs of their equipment. We are very proud of our sporty little Monks.

Community Donations

Additionally, we also donate labor to local organizations to provide painting and carpentry services. If your organization is in need of our services, please contact us and the Estimator in your town will come out to spec out the work. While we can’t help everyone, we will certainly try our best to help.

A couple examples of Monk’s in the community are shown below. This fall we painted the walls in the Central Avenue School in Madison, NJ to provide a blank canvas for their artist and student-painted mural. Doesn’t it look amazing?

Additionally, we painted the new dugouts at Nash Park in Chatham, NJ. We were happy to put the finishing touch on this renovated field and provide the “Chatham Blue”.  Nash Park is ready for spring baseball and softball!
