Over time wood will deteriorate from wear, and constant exposure to the elements. Rather than have to continually maintain a wooden deck, the homeowners opted to swap out their wood decking with composite. Composite looks like wood, but does not require an annual sealing.
To begin this deck refacing project, our carpenters removed the wood flooring of this deck. When we reface a deck, we typically keep the frame and support beams. All of the framework was in good condition and therefore would remain.
New composite decking boards were installed to replace the wood planks. Composite can handle moisture, sun, and other wear.
In only one week this deck was completely transformed.
