Scope of work: Basement Remodeling, Carpentry, Interior Painting
Location: Chester, NJ 07930
Timeline: 2 days
Our team was called into update a portion of this Chester, NJ home’s basement. The mission was to connect the finished playroom and exercise area in the far corner of the basement to the stairway up to the first floor. Over the course of three weeks our team of carpenters completely finished this space to create a safe space for the kids to pass through when making their way down to the basement playroom.
Basement Hallway Finishing
The Project Manager evaluated the space and determined the best plan for this basement. The goal was to keep the majority of the basement unfinished so it could be used for storage.
Carpenters framed out the entire basement hallway from scratch.
We drywalled and painted the walls. A team of electricians brought in electricity to this part of the basement.
Our team walled off the unfinished portions of the basement. This update not only made the space more aesthetically appealing, but it also made it a safer space for the kids to pass through on their way to the basement playroom.
We added interior double doors. This allowed for access to the unfinished space when necessary.
